World-leading supplier of spray technologies requires an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their successful team.

Working for an internationally recognised brand, you will head their Autojet division, providing innovative and effective automation solutions to various industries in and around spray application systems.

Building on their reputation and expertise to deliver innovative and cutting-edge solutions to clients, you will work with existing customers and repeat business and develop new clients and industries.

The role requires an experienced Electrical Engineer who can analyse customer needs, design and develop an automated solution, test and program the software, and then install and commission the system. Every job is unique with diverse industries and requirements, so your ability and experience to understand client needs, visualise and design a solution is paramount.

To be considered for the role, you will:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with industrial and electrical systems
  • Demonstrate an understanding of industrial fluid process equipment (nozzles, valves, sensors, tanks, piping, blending, etc) and their practical application
  • Be tertiary qualified, majoring in electro-mechanical, electrical or automation (or similar)
  • Have a good understanding of automation systems, controllers, and PLCs – design, testing, installation, and commissioning
  • Be able to write and modify programming codes
  • Have practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, componentry, and systems for industrial fluid handling
  • Be CAD proficient
  • Be able to read and design full electrical drawings 
  • Have excellent customer service skills plus analysis and diagnostics skills
  • Be an effective verbal and written communicator.
