Very successful electrical and automation consultancy requires an experienced Automation Engineer
Your role will involve the design, installation and upgrading of industrial machinery on site, providing automation and electrical support.
Duties will include: installation, maintenance, calibration, inspection, testing, troubleshooting and repair of all plant instrumentation, controls and automation including: pneumatic, electric, electronic measurement and control equipment.
You will also install and maintain/program all programmable logic controllers. Provide technical support, training, and advice to assist in the effective use of computer software and hardware.
To be considered for this role you will be an Automation Engineer, experienced with electrical, electronics, PLCs and electro-mechanical controls, in particular Allan Bradley and Siemens. Problem-solving technical related skills are essential. You must also be a self-starter, able to work well independently and under pressure and be able to prioritise and handle multiple tasks on an on-going basis.
