Instrumentation Service Technician, Auckland, upto $110k
One of NZ's leading process and automation control equipment suppliers requires an experienced Instrumentation Service Technician to join their team.
As a market leader in the supply of instrumentation and process control solutions, they hold NZ licenses for several world-leading brands. They offer customers tailored solutions for measuring, controlling and managing industrial processes.
Based in the Auckland office, the Service Technician role involves the service, maintenance, calibration and repair of instrumentation and control systems. Working with a broad customer base throughout NZ, you will travel to the site to resolve product issues, train and provide technical assistance to ensure customers receive support to the highest standard.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- possess specialist knowledge and experience of industrial and process controls – process instrumentation in particular
- have process instrumentation service experience
- be an NZ registered Electrical Service Technician (or similar)
- have a relevant electrical/instrumentation qualification
- be legally entitled to work in NZ
- possess a full clean NZ driver's licence
You will also be self-motivated and able to work autonomously. Most customers are outside Auckland, so travel is necessary, sometimes overnight.
This is a business-critical role with you dealing with customers directly. Therefore, your written and verbal communication skills need to be excellent, and you must be able to present and conduct yourself professionally.
